Steven Universe: Unleash the Light is a role-playing video game set in the animated world of Steven Universe. This game is the third part of the Light Trilogy series. It offers players a mix of combat strategy, character customization, and an engaging story.

Steven Universe: Unleash the Light lets players get to play as their favorite characters from the Steven Universe series. The game includes nine characters such as Steven, Garnet, Pearl, and Amethyst, each with their own unique powers. Players can choose which characters to include in their team and can unlock new abilities and costumes for them. 

The game introduces two new characters who have their own powerful gems. Players must confront these new foes and overcome the challenges they present. The game also features special fusion techniques where players can combine characters to form new, powerful versions with strong combo attacks. 

Adding to the game's appeal is the authentic voice acting from the original cast of the Steven Universe series and a guest appearance by Christine Baranski. 

The game begins in the Diamond Throne Room on the Gem Homeworld where Steven is creating new rules for Era 3. The peace is disrupted when Yellow Pearl finds out that two Light Prisms are still active. Steven decides that the Crystal Gems are best suited to handle this problem.

The team travels to the Palace of Light to confront the new gem characters, Pyrope and Demantoid. Their mission quickly turns into a series of battles and strategic challenges across different locations. Each setting in the game is not just for show; it plays a critical role in the story. Players must solve puzzles and navigate through complex environments to advance in the game.

Pyrope and Demantoid are not simple villains; they are complex characters with their own agendas. They see Steven's new rules as an opportunity to establish their power. The game challenges players to make choices that influence the story and affect their relationships with other characters.
